Deputy PM sends condolences to victims’ families

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi has offered his condolences to the families of the victims of the blasts that hit the Iraqi capital yesterday and left scores of people killed or wounded. Speaking to Iraqi News, Issawi said that those who have been negligent in providing security will be punished. Earlier today, Issawi visited Falluja and opened a new public hospital there. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar province, lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Anbar, the capital of the province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. According to official figures, six explosions hit Baghdad yesterday (Aug. 19), leaving 82 dead and 1,203 wounded. SS (P) 1
