(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) announced on Monday the killing and wounding of more than 1,700 Iraqis in October, asserting that these statistics do not include the victims of the violence in Anbar province.

The United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The death toll of the violence in October stood at 714 dead,” indicating that “there is an increase in the number of deaths in comparison with the month before it. ”

“The number of civilian deaths during the month of October amounted to 559 people,” pointing out that “the death toll from the security forces and the armed forces reached 155 people.” The statement added.
