Attempts of people who lost their privileges will not hinder the reforms, says Abadi
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The head of the Council of Ministers Haider al-Abadi announced on Tuesday, that he will not back down on the reforms, despite challenges, pointing out that the attempts of those who lost their privileges will not hinder its implementation, while also stressed that the will of the citizens is more powerful then them.
Abadi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “our determination is strong in order to continue the reforms and the fight against corruption.”
He added, “the attempts of the people, who lost their privileges, to block the reforms or turn the clock back and reverse what we have achieved will not succeed”, stressing that “the will of the citizens is stronger than them and will take out the roots of corruption and achieve justice in Iraq.”
