Bomb defused, 2 suspects arrested in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Police forces managed on Tuesday to defuse a bomb and arrest two suspected gunmen in eastern Falluja, according to a police source. “Acting on a tip-off, policemen found an explosive charge, planted on a road in al-Lahib region, in Karmat al-Falluja district in eastern Falluja,” the source informed IraqiNews.com news agency. “Anti-explosives team defused the bomb without casualties,” he added. “Policemen arrested two suspects following defusing the bomb,” he noted. Falluja is 45 km west of Baghdad, while Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, is 110 km west of the Iraqi capital. SH (P)/SR 1
