Airstrikes and ongoing clashes in eastern and northern Aleppo: monitor

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that army warplanes bombed the town of Maskana and other areas, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, clashes that broke out between the Syrian government forces and the Islamic State militants continues, in eastern Aleppo, resulting in the fall of an unidentified number of casualties among the ranks of the two fighting sides.
Syrian government forces also shelled several areas in Kafr Hamra and Andan towns, in northern Aleppo, while Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) shelled the outskirts of Azaz city, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.
