(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – General Yahya Rahim Safavi, advisor for military affairs to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei announced on Thursday, that his country has reports claiming that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was training in American camps.

Safavi said in a statement to the Lebanese news site ” Alahed ” followed by IraqiNews.com:”ISIS is the result of the US presence in Iraq; Washington stands behind this terrorist organization. The acts of ISIS elements and Takfirist groups are identical to the massacres of Zionists against innocent people.”

Safavi added: “After the defeat of the Americans in Afghanistan and their occupation of Iraq, they have made the so-called ISIS. We have credible and compelling security reports that ISIS terrorist leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is training in the American camps.”

Safavi considered that “The heroes of Hezbollah and the Lebanese people are the best example for the Arab peoples in the region, including Yemen, Bahrain and the Iraqi people,” noting that, “the resistance of these peoples will fail the new American scheme in the region.”
