Kurdish units kill 4 Iranian soldiers and wound 2 others western Iran

(IraqiNews.com) Sulaymaniyah- “Protection Units of Eastern Kurdistan” announced on Thursday killing four Iranian soldiers and wounding two others western Iran.
The media center of the Protection Units said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Protection Units of Eastern Kurdistan carried out operations in the areas of kiwi Zurna and Khoy eastern Kurdistan,” noting that, “the operations resulted in the death of four Iranian soldiers and wounding two others.”
The statement added that “These operations came in response to the construction of a military post in the region.”
Protection Units of Eastern Kurdistan is one of the Kurdish armed militias that are close to the PKK.
