Putin presents Russian cat in response to Japanese puppy
(IraqiNews.com) The Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to express his gratefulness for the Governor of the Japanese State Akita by sending him a Siberian cat bigger than the puppy that he received from him earlier.
Sources mentioned that the puppy which was presented by Akita’s Governorate represents a letter of appreciation for all Russian efforts exerted to rescue and assist victims of Tsunami hurricane which hit Japan in 2011.
It is noteworthy that the puppy’s name is Yomi which means in Japanese (hope) and it is from Akita-Inu species.
After the end of the meeting between Putin and the Japanese Foreign Affairs Koatero Goumba in Sochi city, on Sunday, the Russian President thanked the Governor on his pretty gift by saying that “I asked you out of the official visit framework to deliver my best wishes and words of thanks to Akita Governor on his delicate present,” he added saying “I have learned that the Governor likes cats so I would like to mention that the cat I will send him is larger than the puppy.”
