Saudi Arabia declares ceasefire in Yemen for five days starting next Tuesday
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Saudi Arabia announced on Friday that a cease-fire for five days in Yemen will begin by next Tuesday, confirming that the operations in Saada comes in response against the threats of Houthis towards the Kingdom.
Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said in a press conference with his US counterpart John Kerry held today in Paris and followed by IraqiNews.com, “there will be a cease-fire for a period of five days as a humanitarian truce starting next Tuesday “.
Jubeir said that, “the military operations in the Yemeni province of Saada come in response to the threats of Houthis towards the Kingdom.”
