Urgent: Emirates Airlines suspends flights to Baghdad

Reuters quoted an executive of Emirates Airlines as saying, “Our company has suspended its flights to Baghdad on Tuesday after a shooting incident on a plane that belongs to Fly Dubai at Baghdad International Airport.
Majid Al Mualla, the first vice president of the Department of Commercial Operations at Emirates Airlines, indicated on the sidelines of a conference in Dubai, “We suspended our flights instantly.”
A source within the Iraqi police reported for IraqiNews.com on Monday that a United Arab Emirates plane was under fire at Baghdad International Airport, amid reports of the injury of a child within passengers.
