US-led coalition conducts 20 airstrikes on Raqqa
Raqqa (SyriaNews.media) The US-led international coalition warplanes carried out, on Monday, 20 air strikes on the Islamic State-held city of Raqqa, north of Syria, Qasioun News reported.
The aerial bombardment was followed by intensive air raids at low altitudes, where the Islamic State group attacked the coalition warplanes with anti-aircraft weapons.
Meanwhile, Syrian Democratic Forces shelled the city with more than 40 artillery missiles.
Furthermore, over 10 artillery missiles fell on al-Naeem area, while the coalition air force bombarded a school in al-Mansour town, inflicting a significant damage on the school.
Yesterday, international coalition also carried out several air strikes on the city of Raqqa, while the Syrian Democratic Forces shelled the city with more than 70 artillery missiles.
