1040 officers, soldiers of former IA brought back to service in Nineveh, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Faris al-Sinjari, announced that “1040 among the officers and the soldiers of the former Iraq Army were brought back to service in Nineveh province.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “It is expected to conduct a similar step in Diyala province with larger number.”

“We hope this step to be followed by closing the secret prisons of the Brigades 54 and 56 of the Iraqi Army that the parliamentary Human Rights Committee referred to,” he concluded.
