2nd Anti-Terrorism Conference begins in Baghdad
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi capital Baghdad hosted the second International Anti-Terrorism Conference that began today with the participation of representatives of United Nations, the European Union, International Anti-Terrorism Bureau, in addition to experts from 50 other countries.
Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in his speech at the opening ceremony of the conference said that ISIS in Iraq and Syria has resorted to the most dreadful acts. The conference is titled as ‘The World with Iraq…against ISIS’
Abadi also called the world to support Iraq against ISIS, emphasizing Iraq’s need for more rehabilitation, training and aid.
The conference will continue for two days and will issue a number of important decisions and recommendations.
