5 countries approved participation in Arab Journalists Federation meeting in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Union of Journalists received approval participation of 5 Arab countries to attend the General Secretariat of Arab Journalists’ Federation to he held in Baghdad. The meeting shall be held on 17-18 December, 2011. In a statement issued by the Journalists’ Union, the countries agreed till now are Egypt, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Palestine and Jordan, while others expressed their preliminary approvals. The meeting shall be attended by Arab media personalities and journalists. The Iraqi Union of Journalists announced that all preparations were made to make this meeting a success. It is the first time in quarter a century that Iraq hosts again such a meeting.
