Abu-Ghraib families may get displaced because of arrests, curfews – source
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Tens of families who live in Abu-Ghraib, western Baghdad, may become displaced because of random arrests and repeated curfews they have been experiencing, said a member of Baghdad‘s Provincial Council. “Families in Abu-Ghraib are upset and angry because of the illegal acts committed against them by the Al-Muthanna Iraqi Army Brigade,” Adil al-Zobaee, who is also a member of the Iraqi Islamic Party (IIP – Sunni group), told IraqiNews.com news agency. He added that the brigade’s servicemen insult people in Abu Ghraib. “The Iraqi government should intervene to end the crisis of Abu-Ghraib people,” al-Zobaee stressed. He explained that the acts of Al-Muthanna Brigade have become unbearable. MH (P)/SR 2
