Adeeb denies launching statements against Sadr Trend

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader within Dawa Islamic Party, also Minister of Higher Education, Ali al-Adeeb, denied launching statements against the Sadr Trend.

A statement by the DIP received by IraqiNews.com cited that Adeeb denied the media reports which quoted him as saying during a meeting with Sahwa Councils’ members “The State of Law Coalition will not forgive the Sadr Trend for being sided with the Kurds and the Iraqiya Slate.”

“Adeeb denied such statements and called the media outlets to seek accuracy in reporting their news,” the statement concluded.

Amid escalated disputes among the political sides, the Sadr Trend and some other blocs call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
