Ambassadors’ Fourth Conference discusses economic hub
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The morning session of the fourth Conference of Ambassadors headed by Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari was held in Baghdad.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “The session was devoted to discussion of economic developments in Iraq and the world and the role of missions in this area and the issue of austerity and the government procedures in this regard and their impact on the work of the Foreign Ministry.”
“The Ambassadors also addressed with Finance Minister, Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, Minister of Planning, Dr. Salman al-Jumaili , Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Yarub Moussawi and director of the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) Mr. Falah al-Amiri most prominent economic developments and oil prices and rounds of licenses and development plans, international cooperation and the most prominent that can be provided by the Iraqi missions in abroad, in addition to suggestions and discussions with the relevant ministries to reach the best ways in Iraq missions management in line with the current situation and the way that serves the interests of Iraq,” the statement concluded. /End/
