Araji: General Retirement law draft to be completed next month

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, Baha al-Araji, announced that the law draft of the General Retirement law draft will be completed next month and will increase the current salaries in ratio of 20%.

In a press conference held on Thursday, Araji said “The law draft of the General Retirement, adopted by al-Ahrar bloc, will be completed next month and will be left for the specialists to vote on it.”

Earlier, MP, Ibrahim al-Rikabi, of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, stated to IraqiNews.com that “The law draft of the General Retirement law draft will set the minimum salary as 400,000 IQD thousands.”
