Babel’s journalists staged a sit-in supporting Gaza

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Tens of journalists participated in a sit-in organized by the Babel branch of the Iraqi Journalists’ Syndicate, to express their support of the Palestinian people who have been subjected to an Israeli military attack for more than a week. “The Syndicate’s main office in Baghdad called to organize this demonstration,” Thamir al-Robaee, the branch’s manager, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “We condemn the Israeli aggression, and we call on the international community and the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to intervene to stop this massacre,” he added.
