Barzani, Allawi emphasize intensifying efforts to settle crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, emphasized the necessity of intensifying the efforts to reach an essential solution to the current political crisis.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Barzani received Allawi and the accompanied delegation at Salah-il-Din resort in Erbil,” noting that “They discussed political updates and the political crisis.”

“They stressed the coordination with the other sides to reach a national solution for the crisis,” the statement concluded.

Recently, The political scene witnesses political movement to settle the disputes started by a meeting held in Erbil involving the President, Jalal Talabani, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, as well as the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, to discuss the political crisis.
