Barzani congratulates Abadi for liberating Qayyarah base

(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – The President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani has congratulated the Iraqi security forces and Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi for liberating al-Qayyarah military base.
In the official website of Kurdistan Region, it was stated, “President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani and the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi during a phone call discussed about the latest updates of confrontations and battles. Barzani congratulated al-Abadi for the achievements achieved by the Iraqi security forces and the liberation of Qayyarah base.”
Adding further it was stated, “Barzani also emphasized that the cooperation and cohesion between Kurdistan Region and Baghdad continues through the development of operations against ISIS.”
