Barzani, Lebanese delegation discuss bilateral relations

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, discussed bilateral relations with a delegation from Lebanese al-Mustaqbal Trend.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Barzani received the delegation of Lebanese al-Mustaqbal Trend, headed by its Secretary General, Ahmed al-Hariri, and stressed the importance of bilateral relations between Kurdistan Region and Lebanon.”

“Barzani praised the role of the late, Rafiq al-Hariri, in granting the Lebanese identity to the Kurds in Lebanon,” the statement added.

“Barzani and Hariri discussed the political situations in Iraq and the Region, stressing Kurdistan Region as a gate for attracting the investments to Iraq,” the statement concluded.
