Bazoni describes distributing 15 thousand IQD to each citizen to replace Ration Card as Worthless

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, described distributing 15 thousand IQD for each citizen instead of the materials of the Ration Card as “Worthless.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “This amount is not equal to the sums that the Government used to spend for providing the items of the Ration card.”

“The Government spends billions to purchase the bad quality of the items of the Ration Card and canceling it will make the Government gain billions,” he added.

He called “The Government to distribute what it gains on the citizens and increase the amount to be 30 thousand IQD to be enough for the citizens.”

He also called “To increase the salaries of the employees who receive less than 1, 5 Million IQD in addition to supporting the local market with the food items.”
