Beriqdar: Constitution to determine relation of judiciary, other authorities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The official spokesperson of the Supreme Judicial Council, Abdul Sattar al-Beriqdar, assured that “The constitution will determine the relation between the judicial authority and the other authorities.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The relation is determined by the constitution on the basis of the conception of the separation among authorities and the independence of the judicial system.”

He denied “The pressure of the government on the judicial system,” stressing that “The judges are free to take the decisions away from courtesy.”

Beriqdar assured that “The accusations over politicizing the judicial system are groundless.”
