Urgent – Parliament to summon Industry Minister

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Integrity Committee decided to summon the Industry Ministry, Ahmed al-Karbouli, over some corruption issues.

A statement by the Hurra Iraqiya bloc quoted a parliamentary source, as saying “The Integrity Committee decided, during its meeting on Saturday and according to a request by some of its members, to summon Karbouli due to some corruption issues that are related to him.”

“MP, Aliya Nusayif, was tasked to collect the signatures of the MPs to summon Karbouli and she was also tasked to conduct the investigation with Karbouli,” the statement concluded.
