Call to down Kurdish flags in disputed areas – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A State of Law MP called today to remove the Kurdish flags from within the disputed areas to avoid the occurrence of problems there. MP Khalid al-Asadi told IraqiNews.com that he called for raising the Iraqi flag alone in the disputed areas. He pointed out that the “only solution is to abide by the constitution.” Kurdish media sources pointed to Premier Nouri al-Maliki’s demand to remove the Kurdish flags and raise the Iraqi, which incited the concern of the Kurds in these areas.
