Citizen & Ahrar Coalitions share formation of 7 local governments by majority, says Kinani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Amir al-Kinani of Ahrar bloc stressed that “Seven provinces have been shared between the Citizen Coalition and Ahrar Coalition to form the local governments by majority.”

Kinani said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “These seven provinces are Baghdad, Basra, Muthanna, Kut, Nasiriya, Babel, and Diwaniya,” noting “Maysan is the first province which formed its local government.”

“The formation of Basra local government will be the share of Citizen Coalition and the Ahrar coalition will assume the formation of Baghdad local government, where Baghdad needs exceptional effort and special programme to offer best services,” he added.

“These two coalitions welcome the joining of all the wining slates to participate in the alliances which will form the local governments,” Kinani pointed out.
