CoM approves next four year development plan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Council of Ministers agreed to bring forward the elections of the provincial councils of Nineveh and Anbar provinces to hold them on the 20th of next June rather than the 4th of next July according to the proposal of the Electoral Commission for elections.

A statement received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited Monday that “The Council of Ministers held a regular session in Baghdad today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki,” noting that “The CoM issued several resolutions which approved the process of supplying free Gasoil to private generators as [30] liters per [KVA] every month for the period from June 1, 2013 until September 30, 2013 and the quantity [35] liters per [KVA] in the month of next Ramadan with the condition that private generators should provide electric power for a period of no less than [10] hours a day at a reasonable price set by the provincial councils.”

The CoM tasked the Ministry of Finance to pay the cost of this product equipped by the Ministry of Oil with the amount of IQD [366] billion from the reserves of the federal budget for the fiscal year 2013.”

The statement added that “The council also approved the National Development Plan for the years 2013-2017 provided by the Ministry of Planning.”
