Dabbagh shows decision of CoM over receiving Syrian refugees
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The spokesperson of the Iraqi Government, Ali al-Dabbagh, confirmed the decision of the Council of Ministers over receiving the Syrian refugees.
In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The CoM decided during its regular meeting on Tuesday, the 24th of July to open the border inlets in front of the Syrian refugees to enter the Iraqi territories due to the unstable humanitarian conditions in Syria.”
“The CoM formed an assistance committee by the Minister of the Emigration as the head and representatives from the Defense Ministry, Interior Ministry and the Red Crescent to support those families,” he added.
“The government allocated IQD 50 Billion from the emergency budget of 2012 to the Emigration Ministry to support the Syrian families,” he concluded.
