3 Days of mourning announced in Diyala, Iraq

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Diyala province, Omar al-Hamyeri, announced three days of mourning in the province to mourn the martyrs who were killed within the terrorist blasts that targeted the Husseini processions in the province.

Hamyeri reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Local Government of Diyala province announced three days mourning to mourn the martyrs who were killed within the terrorist explosions, which took place in Baquba and Zarkoish village nearby Sadaiya area (60 KM) to the north of Baquba district.”

”Targeting Husseini processions is such a coward criminal act that aim at disturbing national unity and breaching security situation,” Hamyeri added, stressing that ”The people should take wisdom of Hussein martyrdom to foil the terrorist plots.”

”The Governor of Diyala decided to form an investigation committee to chase offenders and bring them to justice, noting that ”The families of victims and martyrs should be compensated.”
