Delegations of Sadr Trend head to protesting provinces to be acquainted with demonstrators” demands
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Some delegations of the Sadr Trend head to the provinces that witness demonstrations to be acquainted with the demands of the demonstrators.
Mp, Mohammed Retha al-Khafaji, of al-Ahrar bloc stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Saturday “Due to the commands of the head of al-Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, five delegations comprise the politicians, MPs and ministers of the Sadr Trend, headed to the provinces that witness demonstrations to be acquainted with the demands of the demonstrators and convey them to the parliament and the government.”
” A delegation headed by the First Deputy Speaker, Qusai al-Sihail, and MP, Baha al-Araji, and some other MPs went to Anbar province where another delegation of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend headed by MP, Mushriq Naji, and MP, Abdul Sattar al-Bayati, went to Nineveh province,” he added.
“Another two delegations headed to Kirkuk and Diyala provinces for the same purpose,” he concluded.
The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, participated in a unified prayer held at Abdul Qadir al-Kilani Mosque in central Baghdad on Friday.

Earlier, Sadr visited Saydat al-Najat Church in central Baghdad and met representatives of Christian Community and stressed the right of conducting peaceful demonstrations away from violence.
