Demonstrations led by clergymen linked with foreign agendas, says Bazoni
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, pointed out that the demonstrations witnessed in some areas in Iraq are led currently by clergymen who linked with foreign agendas after the failure of the politicians in leading them.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The politicians urged the public for demonstrations due to their failure in accomplishing their electoral programs and presenting services.”
“Like the Muslim Brotherhood Movement and Salafi movements in Syria, the clergymen started to lead the demonstrations currently with the support of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey,” he added.
“These clergymen are not moved through the national affiliations or the desire to accomplish reforms rather they want to implement foreign agendas or to restore Ottoman Empire,” he concluded.
