Demonstrators dem – canceling regions’ articles – demarcation of Kuwaiti borders
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Tens of Baghdadi citizens marched in different groups in Tahreer Square calling the government to stand against the calls to establish regions and to amend the constitution to preserve the unity of Iraq, while others calls for demarcating border lines with Kuwait, charging it behind yesterday’s explosions in Basra. IraqiNews.com correspondent there said that “there are a group of the demonstrators called for amending constitutional articles to preserve the unity of Iraq, particularly canceling the regions articles. They called to cancel the terminology of Kurdistan region and regard it as one of Iraqi provinces. Another group called for re-considering the demarcation of borders with Kuwait and stopping the implementation of Mobarak terminal, as well as charging Kuwait with yesterday’s explosions in Basra. Different groups, as reported by IraqiNews.com correspondent, demanded the government to eradicate corruption and unemployment, as well as provision of services and the release of detainees. Since last February, demonstration calls were voiced through the Facebook demanding better living opportunities, combating corruption, better governmental administration, and the removal of the government.
