Deputy PM, U.S. envoy probe political, economic issues

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Deputy Premier Rafie al-Issawi on Sunday received U.S. ambassador in Baghdad Ryan Crocker and discussed a host of political, economic and service issues, according to a release by Issawi’s office. “The one-hour meeting between Issawi and Crocker tackled the tangible improvement on the Iraqi political arena as well as economic and service issues,” read the release as received by IraqiNews.com.
