DIP denies reports over holding meeting with Ba’ath elements

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Dawa Islamic Party denied “Reports mentioned by some media outlets over holding meeting between the DIP and some elements of Ba’ath Party who were residing Syria, Yemen or any other countries.”

A statement by the Political bureau of the DIP received by IraqiNews.com cited “The DIP confirms its adherence to eliminate the traces of Ba’ath Party and its killer elements who committed crimes against the Iraq.”

“The DIP strongly adopted the law draft which criminalizes Ba’ath Party and it calls the parliament to speed up its endorsement,” the statement concluded.
