Essawi calls politician to learn lessons from 20th Revolution

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abound al-Essawi, called all the politicians to take an inspiration form the Twentieth Revolution against the British occupation to Iraq.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday, he said “The Popular Twentieth Revolution unified all the sects of the Iraqi people and resulted in future aspirations of independence and freedom and did not take its real position due to the lack of interest in it.”

“The Iraqi people and other people are still proudly remembering the sacrifices of the religious authorities and tribes in all provinces while facing the British occupation where this revolution still resembles a crucial remark in Iraq history,” he added.

He called to “Reinforce the national spirit in the Iraqi society and reject all the sectarian attempts among its constituents with a continuous reminding of this revolution and its results.”
