Falluja tribal delegation warps up visit to Missan
MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: A delegation from the Falluja tribes council wrapped up a two-day visit to Missan on Friday within tribal efforts exerted to unify stances and to boost the national unity, a tribal official said. “A delegation of 15 chieftains representing the Falluja tribes council wrapped up a visit to Missan in response to the visit made by a tribal delegation from Missan to Falluja last month,” Sheikh Ali Hassan Sagar told IraqiNews.com. For his part, the Head of the Falluja tribes Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Zawbaei told IraqiNews.com that “the visit came to foster ties between Iraqi tribes and to coordinate their efforts to boost the national unity.” Missan is a Shiite province. Its capital city is al-Amara. Sitting on the Tigris River, Amara lies 390 km south of Baghdad. Missan, in the east of the country, bordering Iran, is home to many marsh Arabs. SH (P) 2
