Fatlawi criticizes procedures of PCs in dealing with floods

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hanan al-Fatlawi, of the State of Law Coalition criticized the procedures of the Provincial Councils in dealing with the floods.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she said “The PCs are authorities without observation where all the ministries has General Inspectors to observe their performance, but no one observe the performance of the PCs and that is why billions of IQDs are wasted.”

She added “The demands of the Religious Authority over forming a crisis unit to deal with this issue is a logical demand and the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, instructed to hold an urgent meeting with the Governors, Municipalities Minister and Baghdad Mayor to settle this crisis.”

She called “The Integrity Commission to expedite sending the corruption files related to the projects delayed from the former terms of the PCs to the parliament to settle them as soon as possible.”
