Fatlawi: Parliament allocates funds within 2014 Budget to buy clothes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hanan al-Fatlawi, of the State of Law Coalition stated that the parliament allocated some funds within 2014 Budget to buy clothes.

In a press conference held at the parliament building, she said “There are many unjustified ways and methods within 2014 Budget where the parliament chairmanship insisted on endorsing them such as allocating two Billion and 900 Million IQD to buy clothes,” wondering about the sides that will have the clothes.”

“The parliament conducted a primary voting on 2014 Budget and it included many violations and wasting to the public fund,” she added, noting that “In spite of the objection of some MPs and their calls not to endorse it, but unfortunately it was endorsed.”

“It is the first time that the budget is endorsed so early where we used to endorse the budgets in the middle of the year,” she pointed out, assuring that “The budget also included unjustified increase where it was 387 Billion IQD and became 528 Billion IQD which increased 38%.”
