FM heads for Libya for Arab summit

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari will lead a delegation to Libya to attend the Arab Summit, hosted by the city of Sert. “The summit will take place from March 27-28, 2010,” according to a statement published on the ministry’s web site. Zebari will participate in the foreign ministers’ meeting, which will be held on March 25. On the agenda of the summit are the Arab peace initiative, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the inter-Palestinian reconciliation, as well as other issues related to the situation in Somalia and Comoros, and the political process in Iraq, according to the statement.
