Foreign Minister of Vatican to visit Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Minister of the Vatican confirmed his intention to visit Iraq as soon as possible.

A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Minister received by IraqiNews.com, cited Monday “The Iraqi Ambassador to Vatican, Habib al-Sadr, met the Foreign Minister of the Vatican Monsieur Mamirti where they exchanged the points of view over the good relations between Iraq and the Vatican.”

The statement added “The Minister Mamirti confirmed his intention to visit Iraq as soon as possible, appreciating the efforts of the Ambassador Habib al-Sadr to form a permanent committee for dialogue between Iraq and the Vatican.”
