Former director of Integrity Commission accused with corruption
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Integrity Commission declared conducting investigation with Rahim al-Akeley on corruption charges.The Integrity Commission reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Senior officials within Integrity Commission revealed an investigation with the, former director of Integrity Commission, Rahim al-Akeley on charges of his involvement in corruption cases and utilizing his post.””The Directors General of the Investigations Directorate and Legal Department declared during the semi-annual conference that the detectives of Integrity Commission are reconsidering Akeley practices during his four years term.,” the statement added.Akeley presented his formal resignation on 9/9/2011 to the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki attributing it for suffering of political pressures, the Premier approved his resignation. \END\
