GCC condemns recent surge of violence in Iraq
(IraqiNews.com) The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) condemned the recent bombings in Iraq.
The Secretary General of the Council, Abdul Lateef al-Ziyani said on Saturday “We condemn the sinful frequent bombings in a number of Iraqi cities which led to scores of deaths and injuries.”
Ziyani described the bombings as “outrageous criminal operations that contradict with the Islam’s faiths and the human values.”
The head of the GCC expressed “his regret over the continuity of the terrorist operations in Iraq, wishing the country security and stability.”
Baghdad and a number of provinces witnessed over the past few days a surge of violence which led to dozens of deaths and injuries.
