Hakim calls to resort to dialogue to settle political disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, warned from aggravating the problems that are sweeping Iraq following the continuity of the tensed statements among the political blocs.

Hakim said in a speech at the mass wedding ceremony held at Hakim’s office and sponsored by Mihrab Martyr Foundation “The escalation in the political disputes is increasingly growing, hence we have to resort to the culture of dialogue and peaceful co-existence and respect the others regardless of their national or sectarian affiliation.”

He added “The political problems experienced by the country resulted from the absence of accepting the other culture, selfishness and Intransigence rather than being a result of corruption or conflict of interest.”
