Hakim congratulates Iraqis on gaining Asia Cup

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, congratulated the Iraqi people and the sports community on the occasion of obtaining Asia Football Cup U22.The Iraqi National Football team won the championship after beating the Saudi counterpart in the final match held in Muscat, the capital of Oman.The Iraqi forward, Muhanad Abdul Rahim, scored the Iraqi goal at the 33rd minute of the match.The Iraqi players played in green jersey while the Saudi players wore the white jersey.The match took place on Seeb stadium at the capital of Oman, Mascot, which hosts the Asia U22 Football Cup. \END\
