Hakim emphasizes presenting services to citizens
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, received the Governor of Baghdad, Salah Abdul Razaq, on Wednesday.
A statement by Hakim’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Both sides discussed the results of the Provincial Councils elections.”
“Hakim stressed the importance of presenting the services to the citizens regardless the issue of who is assuming the key posts,” the statement concluded.
The PCs elections results of 12 provinces announced by the Independent High Electoral Commission showed that the State of Law Coalition won 108 seats followed by the Citizen bloc that won 61 seats.
