Hakim wishes to continue dialogue among blocs
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, expressed his hope in keeping the communications and dialogue means open among all political blocs.
The Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council announced in statement to IraqiNews.com that “Hakim hosted in his office in Baghdad some of the tribal leaders, elders and dignitaries from all provinces, and during the meeting al-Hakim, expressed his hope that the communications and dialogue means stay adopted to serve the political process and in the way which contribute in settling the current crisis in the country.”
The statement added that “We want to build a state of institutions based on the constitution which has to be accepted by all the political sides and adopted in solving the political disputes considering it an acceptable reference by all parties.”
