(IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi considered what happened in Yemen as an internal conflict, noting that Yemenis have to solve their problems among themselves to hinder any external interference.

Abadi said during a joint news conference with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon held in Baghdad today, “What happened in Yemen is an internal conflict with regional implications, however, the Iraqi vision says that the problems that exist among Yemenis must solve their problems among themselves to hinder any external interference and external war, which exposes the region to risk.”

He added, “Iraq is exposed to the same issue and we hope that all the region’s countries will cooperate with Iraq in the fight against ISIS instead of getting in internal disagreements because the threat of terrorism is the main threat.”
