Hezbollah to indulge in the political process – Secretary General 1/21/2012 8:21 PM NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: Hezbollah – Iraq  Secretary General Wathiq al-Batat said today that the “party will participate in the political process in the same name and flag”. Batat told IraqiNews.com that “we are an Islamic political party that defends religion and sect.We will participate in the political process”. He pointed out that the party is the twin to Lebanese Hezbollah. “In the past, we were resisting the government , but now we will indulge in the political process as a political party that will be in the service of the citizens following US forces withdrawal”, he added. The party will have the name of Hezbollah Party for Islamic renaissance. It paraded today in Najaf city to commemorate Muslim Prophet Mohammed death.
