(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – on Saturday, Vice President Nuri al-Maliki said that the hopes to topple the ruling regime in Syria had ended, while called for not betting on the Arab coalition against Yemen.

Maliki said in press statements followed by IraqiNews.com, “There are those who imagined that they could topple the government and establish an alternative system based on sectarian grounds, and that they would benefit from the fall of the Syrian regime,” adding that, “The situation is calmer now, after the fail of the plots to foil the political process and the constitution.”
